How to paint skirting boards?

No easy ways I`m afraid you have to squat down and get on with it...good luck. How to paint skirting boards?
use low tack masking tape to protect the walls, a gloss roller for the large areas and a small brush for the intricate parts. Make sure you floor covering is protected. How to paint skirting boards?
Carefully.
Firstly rub down skirtings with a medium grade sandpaper, fill all holes with red Devil filler (the best on the market) Apply with a good 2'; paint brush acrylic woodprimer/undercoat.(this is water based and gives such a whiter background). If necessary apply a second coat (which I have found always gives a better finish). In between coats always sand down with a fine sanding block, then apply one coat of gloss or sheen finish.
If you don't want to get get paint on the wall just press something against it, a cd case is quite good
Use masking tape for a nice straight edge.
Use a brush with some paint, perhaps?
Sand them back roughly but not as to damage wood, so new paint will adhere, mask walls, floor too with masking tape if area does not have carpet. Use a undercoat, then paint the colour you want. Remove Masking tape just before paint dries so it don't take your paint with it
I'm sure there are plenty of unemployed men in your trailer park. Pay them to do it.
..use masking tape along bottom edge at floor or carpet... tape newsprint out one page from wall... this will give you place ot set paint and barrier from paint drips on floor... the rest is up to you
rub it down well first.

Use a straight edge to prevent getting it on the wall above if your hand is not too steady, try and protect any flooring also and have something on hand to clear up any spill as soon as it happens
Unless you do it regularly in which case you will be good at freehand it will save you A LOT of hassle later if you get some wide masking and mask above and below - just make sure that the tape isn't too sticky that it pulls off the paint / wallpaper above it. - then you can just slop it on.
I'm in the process of painting my kids room.get yourself some masting tape.line it on either side of the skirting board.that way you don't have to worry about getting paint on the wall.good luck!
just put masking tape top and bottom ...
This a simple task.

Surely any body is up to this.

If you have to ask, it means you have no skills whatsoever.

Get someone in.

It will cost about 50 quid.

You'll spend that on paint, brushes, masking tape, dustsheets, cleaning stuff, and anything i have missed.
WITH A PAINT BRUSH/ROLLER/SPRAY
