How to remove paint from woodwork and trim?

i have an old house with beautiful woodwork and someone painted it in the bathroom and kitchen its really thick and is chipping i would really like to get down to the wood but its really detailedHow to remove paint from woodwork and trim?
There's no easy way to strip that old paint off, you either sand paper sand-block type thing, paint stripper or burn it off. For my money sand papering you end up with the best result but it's the hardest way If you have a heat gun, the one that looks like a hair dryer do it that way or paint stripper which could be expensive. I wouldn't use a flame to heat as the paint is of the older type and loaded with lead, even with the heat gun you should use a mask. bYou could try taking the off and send them to be sand blasted?
