Use a clay bar to remove all contaminants. Meguires makes a good clay bar. Then use a fine grit rubbing compound followed by a wax.My car has like water marks on the paint work which wont polish out or wash off, any ideas how to get rid of?
sounds like they may be ';into the paint';......3-m brand'; per fit 2'; for clear coats..( may take them out with a buffer and a white pad....but you may have to take 2000 grit wet paper and block sand them out....if u have no experience in this, then go to a detail shop and have it done....you can sand through the clear-coat and into the paint if your not extremely careful...and damage the finish to the point of needing a repaint......it may cost u a few bucks to have a pro do it but it could be the best route
Is it in the paint or on the paint. Did battery acid get splashed on the surface and was the paint done professionally? If you had it painted recently the metal could have been improperly prepared. It may also be the edge of a spotted in area and primer over spray is showing through the paint
These marks are the result of using too much or an inferior screen wash. They can be polished out but try using less or better still no screen wash except water.
try mothers rubbing compound, this should do the trick if not you may need to have them buffed out.
Paint over them.
