Painting your room pink, will not be plain. Because you are going to find a really cool looking comforter that you love with matching curtains. And then you are going to find pictures that have pink in them to hang on your walls and your going to need throw pillows on your bed in another shade that is in your comforter (other than pink). So your room is definitely going to have a lot going on in it. Painting it is only the beginning of this summertime project!I want to paint my room pink, but that seems so plain!! You could paint 3 walls pink, and paint the 4th wall in a complementary color that is of a similar tone. For example, if you went with a clear light pink, you could paint the 4th wall with a clear light green or clear light blue. If your pink color is bright, then use bright accent colors. If your pink has a lot of gray in it, then use similarly grayed accent colors.

Another idea is to paint the pink on all four walls, but stop at about 5 or 6 feet up the wall. Use an accent color for the top portion of the walls, or paint the top portion the same color as your ceilings. You could use wood molding trim or another accent color as the horizontal dividing line.

Good luck!
a great idea (and what i just did to my room) is when you're putting up the tape as to not paint on the ceiling and wooden door frames, put a couple pieces all the way up and down one wall. it will leave white stripes around your room and it looks great. it really adds character. but don't do too many (2-3 per wall) or you'll end up looking like you're in a jail cell. you could also do a border around half the room and paint the top one color and bottom another (light green and pink go well together). but that might be a little too ';babyish.'; good luck.
try a pattern accent with it. i painted my room bright pink and i got fabric to match and it is black with pink polka dots. then im planning to make curtians and pillow cases out of the matirial to accent it just depends on if you like it or not. tip:dont paint the celing pink. paint it white. it makes the room look taller and more roomy. :D
my room is going to be terqouise with hot pink and light pink polka dots and my furnature and my closet lime green and get hot pink/ light pink rugs!!!!!!!!!!!! and i might have like beads hand down from my closet or windows!!!!!! mabye u could do something like that, it depends on how old u r! im like 13 yrs old! thats how i add PIZZAZ to my room!
depending on your age,

baby room-add purple and mint green accents

child room-more purple

teenage room-deep purple accents, gray accents.

Find an item of clothing that you love that has pink in it. Then look at the neighboring colors. Use those for accents.
Here are some suggestions.......

1.You could paint two walls pink and the the other two a diferent colour

2.Put wallpaper up on two of the walls

3.just put loads of posters and photos up that way it won't seem that boring :D
I think you should try some sticker (from other colour).Or you can try having some accesories such as lamp, door hanging object and much more
