The Pop artists just responded to the Pop culture[ eg pop music, movies, advertising, glamour photography, etc] and presented it as art, i.e. displayed in galleries, on walls, or as large- scale murals. You would need to research artists like Warhol, Rosenquist, Blake, Koons, etc for some inspiration, then do your own 'take' on aspects of contemporary life. One idea for a hair salon would be large scale images of iconic hairstyles, eg, Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy, Madonna, Monroe, Agyness DeynAny one know how to paint pop art?
I have made pop art paintings by taking a photograph and using adobe photo shop tools to change it to my art taste and then use them as reference.
They look pretty cool.
