if you want a good paint job done on it and not a cheap looking job check with some of your local body shops they wil do you a good job on that car,and if they use good paint it will last, cheap paint wont hold up very well on a car now days.starting price for a good job will be around 1200 bucks so be leary of cheap prices, good luck. How much will it cost to paint my car?

that depends on who you go to, what level of paint job you want, what materials are used, how much body work is needed, etc. one day and maaco can do a cheap job for around $300. you can however go as high as $15,000-20,000 for a ultra high end job with top quality materials. the average cheap paint job with some body work generally runs around $600 on average.
Roughly , it should cost you the time to take it to a body shop where they can see how much prep work it may need , and then they can give you a FREE estimate. We can`t see the condition of your car, nor do we know where you live and what body shops in your area would charge
a lot less than a new car...don't skimp and my true advice would be to stay away from Earl Scheib and places like that. they don't do good work. you have a classic so paying a little more from a real auto body place would be a wise investment.
WE CANT EXACTLY TELL YOU HOW MUCH THE COST IS BECAUSE PRICES USUALLY VARY. I SUGGEST GOING TO A LOCAL MECHANIC OR GAS STATION AND ASKING THEM. THEY WOULD KNOW
oh boy, If you want a quality job, proabbly about 1700 or more.

unless it has like really low miles probably wouldn't be worth it.

EDIt- maaco and earl sheib are not quality places.
Maaco is inexpensive, but watch out as they are independently owned, so it may be hit or miss. Their website gives you the prices:
