i made a mistake and used one of my good paint brushes to paint something on a tshirt using fabric paint. now the paint has dried and all of the brush hairs are stuck together. is there any method of removing the paint from the brush hairs? ie soaking them in something, etc. THANKSHow to remove fabric paint from paintbrush?
You could try soaking in some warm water. Since fabric paint is an acrylic paint (water based) it might work. Let it soak for awhile. then see what happens. You might just have to throw out the brush.How to remove fabric paint from paintbrush?
Try the warm / hot water soak first. If that doesn't work, paint thinner or turpentine should do the trick. Could also try acetone.
