Need ideas how to paint/decorate twins (boy&girl) bedroom. ?

My twins (a boy %26amp; girl) will be sharing a bed room for a while. We recently remodeled their room and now its time to decorate. I need some ideas how to do that for a boy and a girls room with out looking to boyish and girlish.Need ideas how to paint/decorate twins (boy%26amp;girl) bedroom. ?
Yellow would be a good wall color for both. If you are using twin beds you could use matching bedding in different colors or matching bedding with pink accessories / sheets on one and blue on the other. The blue and pink will work with the yellow walls. Use color chips to get the right pink, blue, green or whatever color you wish to go with your yellow walls.

This room is blue but could be painted yellow: http://www.hgtv.com/dream-home/blue-kids鈥?/a> Here is a room that is shared by a girl and boy. It is a little strong for my taste but you may like it: http://www.hgtv.com/decorating/bedroom-f鈥?/a>

well it depends on how old they are, babies won't mind what you do, but you will

little kids will complain that its too 'girly' or 'boyish'

for little kids i would do something like simple colors and let them get their own sheets and whatnot that will match the room that way when one gets to move out of the room the other one [well, you] can customize it more without having to start all over.

a simple color like yellow or green would work, the maybe a striped bed set for the boy and polka dots for the girl then white furniture?

i love redecorating, just have fun and be creative

ooh! you could paint the room white then go to a store and find cheap miscolors and let the kiddos finger paint all over the walls with hand prints, splatters, etc
well if u gave them each their own side i would let them each put w.e. they want on their own side..some ideas are wall decals(home depot and lowes. lamp for each. and fun beanbag chairs.
You left out their age, that is kinda important. I would stick to primary and secondary colors in pure hue...think the 6 colors on the color wheel. Also, limit the amount of themes you use, so not to date the room. How long will they be sharing the room? Who will get to move out when more space is available or will the whole family be moving and each child get a new room? The responder that posted about stripes and dots...LOVE the idea. Fun, different for each kid, and doesnt date. Are they old enought to decide?
Check out my website. We have some beautiful expressions. We even have expressions for twins. When you get to my website, click on products, you can go from there. You can order direct from my website. If you have any questions you can contact me through my websites. As the babies get older you can change the designs by just peeling them off and throwing them away. If you go to the about me page, it will give you links for our special incentives. There is one that you might be very interested in and that one is called the Little Hands Keepsake.
if you painted the walls separate like one side pink another one blue you can put the maching colors or if the walls aere one color you should buy furniure thats white or green or maybe evn orangr :)
Raggety Ann %26amp; Andy. Mickey %26amp; Minnie. A simple Seseme Street theme. Classic Pooh. All timeless. Or you could go with less of a licensed theme: jungle, farm animal, etc. When we didn't know what our first 2 would be, we went with farm for our first. Top of the walls were khaki, bottom barn red. Then we used rough planks as a chair rail and painted them white. We used them to frame door and window as well. There are some great bedding sets with this theme- ours was from Eddie Bauer 9 years ago! It was a great room and worked regardless what we had (she was a girl and loved it till we moved her when she was 5!) Good luck!!
