How do i get the text toolbar on paint to work?

Even when i click it and it has a check mark beside it, it never pops up.I dont know what to do.How do i get the text toolbar on paint to work?
I don't know about the checkmark part. I don't think it puts a checkmark next to text toolbar in View menu.





You just click on ';A'; button on the left menu, and you will have a cross cursor. And then you drag and define your text area on the drawing sheet. And then go to View and click on Text toolbar. You should get it then.
