Any one know how to paint pop art?

I did it in high school but really can't remember, it is for my friend as she has told some girl that she will do pop art pictures for her hairdressing shop. So anything from anyone will help!! PleaseAny one know how to paint pop art?
The Pop artists just responded to the Pop culture[ eg pop music, movies, advertising, glamour photography, etc] and presented it as art, i.e. displayed in galleries, on walls, or as large- scale murals. You would need to research artists like Warhol, Rosenquist, Blake, Koons, etc for some inspiration, then do your own 'take' on aspects of contemporary life. One idea for a hair salon would be large scale images of iconic hairstyles, eg, Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy, Madonna, Monroe, Agyness DeynAny one know how to paint pop art?
I have made pop art paintings by taking a photograph and using adobe photo shop tools to change it to my art taste and then use them as reference.

They look pretty cool.
