Anyone know how to get paint/scratches off of car?

I bought a car last week and already I see that someone has hit my car with their car door and left paint on it. My car is blue and the paint looks silver. Any ideas how to get it off without ruining my car?

i am not sure about the extra paint on there but for the scratches if you can feel it with your thumbnail you may have to use touchup and a buffer with cutting wax. if you dont know how to do that call your local detail shop and see if they do a buff for scratches.
NO TOUCH UP PAINT YET FIST TRY TO BUFF IT OFF USUALLY THE PAINT THAT COMES OFF ANOTHER CAR IS JUST A SCUFF AND CAN COME OFF WITH JUST BUFFING IF IT DOESNT COME OFF THEM GET TOUCH UP PAINT.





WHILE YOUR AT IT BUFF THE WHOLE CAR YOULL BE SUPRISED AT HOW NICE AND SHINY IT WILL COME OUT... :)
buy the rough type polish... (the one that you can see bit of rough sand like liquid type) then left your car under a hot sun in about 1 hour then polish it... it work on my car... but i think gross paint car will not work...because my car is metalic...
buffing compound can get rid of the other car's paint... it's like a wax.. and get touch up paint for minor dings and scratches. There's a paint code on a plate under your hood (usually) and the touch up paints have a matching code. If you're unsure, go to a dealer, they'll know where the paint code is and will sell you a match.

Get a can of engine degreaser at any auto


parts store.


Spray *just a little bit* on a rag and rub *lightly*


in a circular motion along the scratch. Repeat if


necessary.


The same applies for getting the other guys paint off.
