How much does an average size room cost to paint it professionally?

thanks. How much does an average size room cost to paint it professionally?
Hey do you live in the Chicago-land area? I ask because I do professional painting on the side. There are a lot of factors. If you have vaulted ceilings and if you are looking for minor drywall repair also. Is it a new construction home, or is it a remodel. New construction homes are typically sprayed with a primer, and then sprayed with a paint, usually one color and that is white. New Construction would be a brand new house that can have paint applied with a sprayer. This typically does not have any cabinets, flooring, trim, etc. The price for that is typically $1.00 - $1.50 per square foot. So if you have a home that is 2000 square feet, then the cost would be between $2000 to $3000. If it is a remodel there is more work to be done since trim and windows need to be taped off.

Furniture, and flooring will need to also be covered. A typical room lets say 10ft x 12ft ceiling white, one color all the way around, paint, material, and labor could cost anywhere between $250 - $350 a room. This typically includes small nail holes to be patched. If there is wall paper to be removed that cost extra as there is more labor and the wall needs to be primed. It's hard to give an exact amount with out seeing the room. What you may over look we would see easily. Any other questions you can e-mail me. If you hire out for a paint job get a few different estimates. How much does an average size room cost to paint it professionally?
those two don't know beans from baking soda, to paint a room i charge 3.50 a foot on the floor to start. to remove paneling and extras i quit the footage and charge $40 an hour.

(a 2,000 foot room is bigger than my house for crying in the barn, and i have charged $15,000 for a 15X20 ft dining room, but i did it in venitian plaster, and gilded the ceiling, but that is a whole other deal)
with material and labor about three to five hundred for a good job and also depends on the size of the room, bigger room more money.
