Have tried : Eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, lavender oil, orange oil, hairspray, metho, nail polish remover, magic scrubs %26amp; most household cleaners to no avail! Help me! I'm in a rental. It appears they've painted doors %26amp; cupboards with gloss enamel if that helps.Does anyone know how to get biro off gloss paint?
If you've already tried eucalyptus oil my only other suggestion is good old spray and wipe and a nylon scrubber. It'll get the biro off, but will scratch the paint a little, or take a thin layer off. If it's not too big an area I'd scrub the actual biro fairly well and a little more lightly around the edges.... just for blending purposes. Eucalyptus oil normally works for me though - it may take quite a bit of dabbing and wiping though... but if it's a colour other than white it may leach the paint colour out as well. If You Cant Get It Off Just Paint Over It If You Cant Find The Same Colour Just Repaint All The Glossed Areas x

Use alcohol. Spray some perfume on the biro mark and rub with a cloth.
